Let’s go back 12 years before Spyro’s egg was laid.
It’s the year of the Female (1976).
It’s the night before the females were taken to the nursery Realm to lay eggs.
Spyro’s mother, Spyion was having no luck finding a mate.
She had brown wings, Pink scales and blue eyes. As female dragons go she was really pretty.
Spyro’s father, Robert, a very muscular Peacekeeper was keeping guard at a stage door. He had blue wings, purple eyes and scales.
Spyion was getting desperate because in the morning she and the other females were going to the nursery Realm to lay eggs.
She smells the scent of Drynx (Dragon version of the human brand “Lynx”). Let’s just say she followed her nose. She finds the Drynx wearer to be a muscular male dragon guarding a door.
She attracts the attention of the dragon and finds out that he is a Peacekeeper. “My name is Spyion. What’s your name?” Spyion asks. “My name is Commander Robert Peacekeeper.” Says Robert. He noticed Spyion’s beauty starts to fall in love. “Have you mated yet? “ Robert asks. “No.” replies Spyion. “Why?” She asks. “I fancy you and want to mate with you.” Robert says despite he knows there is a no cross family mating rule and the penalty for breaking it. “I know a very secluded spot where we can mate unnoticed. Shall we?” asks Robert. “Oh, Yes.” Spyion blushing. They go to the spot and mate. Then Robert takes her to the backstage of the concert and they both watch a band perform. The sun comes up. The fairies call “All females to the nursery portal”. “I’ve got to go. If I lay a boy I’ll call him ‘Robert’ and if I lay a girl, I’ll call her “Lucy”. Robert says “Goodbye” as Spyion runs to the nursery portal. She blows Robert a kiss before she enters it. Robert sighs, and says, “I’ll miss her.”
She arrives in the nursery realm. She finds her usual spot and settles down to lay her eggs.
2 days before the fairies take the eggs to the Dragon Temple. She starts to lay her egg, but she finds she is having trouble. She calls to fairy to call an Artisan paramedic. The medic was a blue dragon with blue wings. He examined her and then took her to the Artisan Hospital. They did an ultrasound on her and found she had 2 eggs and one was stuck in the laying passage.
They take her to the stuck egg department.
They put her onto a bed with green covers. The nurse comes with a clipboard and asks Spyion some questions.
“Name?” the nurse asks. “Spyion”, Spyion replies.
“Age?” the nurse asks. “48”, Spyion replies.
“Allergies?” the nurse asks. “None I know of” Spyion replies. “Sign here for antiseptic” the nurse, says pointing to the permission section of the clipboard. Spyion signs it then the nurse clips it to the end of the bed. “Nurse” Spyion begins. “Yes” the nurse replies. “Could I have something for the pain please, its unbearable,” asks Spyion
“Yes. I’ll just go to the cupboard and get a painkiller,” replies the nurse.
The nurse goes the medicine cabinet and gets out 2 paracetamol. She fills a glass full and petrol and puts it on a tray and brings it Spyion. "Take these they'll make the pain bearable." says the nurse.
"Thanks," says Spyion before taking the tablets. "The doctor will see you in the morning or when he is availabile." says the nurse.
Spyion setles down for the night and falls asleep.
The next morning, she wakes up to find a doctor looking at her clipboard. "Morning," says Spyion. "Morning, Sleep well?" asks the doctor. "Yes. Like a log," replies Spyion.
"According to your clipboard, you have 2 eggs to lay but one is stuck. I have to options to shift it. Eggcanonine or pull it out manually. Which one do you want me to do?" asks the doctor.
"The manual way sounds painful. Is the Eggcaononine painful?" asks Spyion. "It can be. But it has a very high success rate and some risks." repliers the doctor.
"I would like you to use the eggcanonine please." says Spyion. "NURSE! Bring 525mg of Eggcanonine." shouts the doctor.
Then nurse comes with a heart monitor, a baseball glove, an egg shaped tablet and a glass of petrol. "When I say go. Take the tablet with the glass of petrol." the doctor says giving spyion the egg shaped tablet.
The doctor puts the heart monitor sencer on Spyion's claw. "What's that for?" she asks. "Just to make sure you're ok during the proccedure." resures the doctor.
The nurse puts on the baseball glove and stands at the end of the bed. "Ready nurse?" ask the doctor. "yes doctor" she replies. "Ready Spyion, 3.2.1 GO!" says the doctor.
Spyion take the tablet. Her heart rate rapidly increases. "Here it comes!" the doctor shouts before a egg flys out of Spyion and lands in the baseball glove, sending the nurse skidding across the ward floor. She gets back up and puts the egg on a cushion.
She gets back into position before an another flys out and sends her skidding back across the ward. The nurse gets up and puts the egg on the cushion. The doctor gives Spyion the antidote. Spyion's heart rate slowly goes back to normal. "How do you feel?" asks the doctor.
"Tired" replies Spyion. "Get some rest. I'll see you soon." says the doctor. "Nurse," says the doctor to the nurse. "Yes Doctor?" she asks. "Looks like you need some onitment on that nasty friction burn or your bum." replies the Doctor.
"Yes doctor" she says before she puts sensers on Spyion.
"So that's why they call that tablet Eggcannonine." says Spyion falls asleep exhasted.
A few hours later, the nurse brings Spyion some dinner. It was Lamb, flame roasted potatotes,veg and Artisan Pudding.
Spyion eats in 3 mins 45 seconds flat. She emits a loud belch. "excuse me." Spyion says.
"Don't they feed you in the Nursery Realm?" asks the nurse. "They do. It's very tiring to lay eggs that shoot you across the ward."
Spyion replies before she falls asleep.
A few hours later, a nurse was giving Spyion a medical check when the body temperture monitor starts to drop.
"GET SOME GAS IN HERE STAT! WE HAVE SERIOUS TEMPERTURE DROP HERE!" the nurse shouts.
A bunch of nurses bring a big tank of gas to Spyion's bed and feed a tube into Spyion's mouth to
her flame chamber and they start the gas pump. "Steady. The temperture is nearly normal."
Says the nurse before Spyion wakes up. "What's going on ?" she mumbles. "We are feeding gas to your flame chamber.
You have just a serious body temperture drop." replies the nurse.
"ok. Stop pumping." says the nurse as the gas crew slowly pull out the tube from Spyion. "Can I see the doctor?" asks Spyion.
"Sure." Replies the nurse before going to get the Ward head doctor. the Doctor come 5 minutes later. "Do you know the sex of the youngsters in the eggs?" asks Spyion. "Yes we do, One is a boy and one is a girl." replies the doctor. "That's good because have names for them. they are...."
Spyion says before she falls unconscious. A klaxon sounds from the monitoring equiptment.
"GET A MEDICIAL TEAM IN HERE! WE HAVE A CODE 2!" shouts the doctor. A team of paramedics rush. One of them is carrying a defibulator just in case it is needed.
They start CPR. "Bring the defibulator in here. We might be able to restart her heart." says the doctor.
They use the defibulator on her at maximum but the heart wouldn't start. "I'm calling it. Do you all agree?" the doctor says as Spyion's body turns to a spirit and leaves through a window.
Later that afternoon two faries came and picked up the eggs and took them to the dragon Temple.
